Chetan Mogal is the CEO of BIM Engineering U.S., a company found in 2000.
Formerly, Mr. Mogal served as Vice-president of Pre-construction and BIM Integration at The Williams Companies in 2013. During his term at this organization, Mr. Mogal was responsible for building global teams focusing on BIM Integration. Here he handled 15 in-house and 25 offshore employees engaged in BIM Integration, coordination and constructability review.
In 2011, Mr. Mogal joined Suffolk Construction as a Regional BIM Director wherein he supported and trained the project teams by developing and utilizing conceptual budget models though BIM. He was also into evaluating new BIM software and technologies as clients demanded 3D modeling, 4D scheduling, 5D estimating, and other BIM functionalities. In 2010, Mr. Mogal started as a Project Manager at Suffolk Construction and was later promoted to the Regional BIM Director.
From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Mogal started his career as an intern at the Dietze Construction Group where he was hired as an Assistant Superintendent after his graduation. Later on, he was promoted to an Assistant Project Manager followed by the post of Project Manager. Handling these posts efficiently, he gained field and construction experience and also handled conceptual development and scheduling of various commercial construction projects.
Mr. Mogal studied Financial Management from the Harvard Extension School during 2014 to 2017. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Building Construction Technology (2005-2007) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Mogal has also studied Construction Business Management (2004-2005) from the National Institute of Construction Management & Research (NICMAR) and has completed an Advanced Multimedia and Animation course from Arena Multimedia (2003-2005). Mr. Mogal completed his graduation in Architecture (Bachelor of Science) from the University of Pune.
